Where We Find

ourselves, our path, a place to call home

a space for slow thought in a fast world

We live in a culture obsessed with efficiency, targets, and control. But what happens when the maps we were given no longer fit the terrain?

Where We Find is a space for those who recognize that a meaningful life isn’t something you arrive at, but an orientation you practice. Life is not a solitary journey in a void, but is always and ever in medias res—in the middle of things.

Drawing from the fertile crossroads of Eastern and Western thought, we look for a different kind of grounding. Rooted in the Daoist wisdom of the Daodejing and the Zhuangzi, we walk alongside thinkers like Emerson and Thoreau, and the voices of poets like Wisława Szymborska and Wendell Berry, exploring what it means to be truly part and parcel of the world in which we are found.

The Deeper Journey

The Art of Being Lost

A 6-Week Shared Inquiry

In a period of profound unraveling, the structures that once offered a sense of order—social, professional, and personal—now feel increasingly fragile.

Rather than a traditional course, this is an intimate, live workshop. We study core sources together to find grounding precisely when the "old ways" fail us.

It is a practice of finding footing in a world of flux, moving beyond the search for instant solutions to develop a more honest, sustainable, and deeper relationship with the present.
